I am THIS CLOSE to giving up on you, especially since the Lemon Semolina cookies (click for recipe) I’ve been making lately from Dolce Italiano are so tasty and everyone loves them just as much as they ever loved you.
Look at how cute they are there, all charming and not at all disappointing.

Biscotti, I am going to give you one last chance: I have been convinced by the comments of not one but two bakers at the shop that using a hand mixer is pretty amateur hour. I will attempt biscotti with a borrowed KitchenAid stand mixer, but then that’s it. If you still taste how paste smells, we’re through.
